2019 Summer News

We opened the season with a fascinating dance and acrobatics show “The Silk Road” that talks

about the rich history of the ancient silk road.

Meanwhile, in our Cinema East series we screened the film “Xuanzang” that tells the true story

of a chinese buddhist monk xuan zeng who traveled thousands of kilometers in purchase of the

Hindi origin of Buddhism, and brought it finally after 17 years to China.

Summer summer it’s time to travel! This summer we opened the “China Beyond Imagination”

photo exhibition who presents a beautiful portrait of China.

And if the exhibition didn’t make you want to plan your next trip to the east, we also started the

amazing project in cooperation with Lametayel “Yalla China”. We sent a group of bloggers to 5

destinations in China to see this beautiful country through their eyes.

Shlomi Lakau explored the streets of Chengdu, Yifat Chen Cohen took a hot air balloon ride

around  the rice terraces of Yangshuo, Dorel Sivan wandered around the dunes of Dunhuang,

Danit gave us a glimpse of the vivid nightlife in Shanghai and Yarden Harel explored the Hutongs

of Beijing in her own special way! SEE the full blogs HERE

Summer vacation time is always a good opportunity to bring your kids to our art workshops and activities.

This summer we brought the artist and teacher Mr. Ma Ke for a series of painting workshops for kids.

During the week, Mr Ma Ke also conducted a workshop in the integration department of Akko.

We’ve closed our summer activities with a new interactive show for kids in spired by Vered Kaminski’s

book, “Noodle Sticks”. During the closing event our kids participated in a short painting workshop,

and took a selfie with our friendly guest- our CCC panda.
