The Silkroad Jazz Band is a young, dynamic and surprising jazz quintet from the city of Guangdong in southern China. The band participated in various international jazz festivals, including the Beijing Nine Gates International Jazz Festival, JZ Festival in Shanghai, Guangzhou Jazz Festival and OCT-LOFT Shenzhen International Jazz festival. In Israel, the Silkroad Jazz Band will play a variety of standards and unique jazzy arrangements of Chinese folk and popular music. The members of the band, all graduated from the renown Xinghai Conservatory of Music, present the new generation of Chinese jazz musicians and the rhythm, aesthetics and atmosphere of southern China.ֿֿ
