The exhibition is presented as part of a series of three exhibitions that tell the story of the Jews in China. The online exhibitions make accessible the history, heritage, culture and daily life of the Jewish communities in the cities of Harbin, Tianjin and Shanghai.
The series is presented as part of the events of the 30th year of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Israel.
The second exhibition in the series – Tianjin Jewry: Community and Heritage – includes a selection of photographs and archival documents dealing with the community and heritage of Tianjin Jewry in the first half of the twentieth century.
